I am, once again, indebted to Luis Garrido for the following images. Luis has been instrumental is assisting me with the placement of the plaque on the cemetery wall in Château d'Oléron. The plaque has been placed to the left of the main cemetery entrance. I would have hoped it would have been placed closer to the green CWGC plaque but I'm pleased that visitors will now be able to learn a little more about the sacrifice made by the crew back in 1943.

Well done, Craig. Another way of ensuring that we will remember them! Once again, a huge Merci! to Luis Garrido from a grateful family member. For years we felt that we mourned Harry and this brave crew on our own. It is such a comforting thought that we now realize we are not alone. Thank you to Craig, and to everyone who remembers the crew of Lancaster ED559.
